Scubapro no longer services the Monitor 1, 2, 2+ or Monitor 3. The 2+ and 3 computers require hookup to a device to wake it up and reset battery level meter. Scubapro has determined it is no longer economical to service. We have found a way with high success to service these computers for less. Send them to us!

Scubapro no longer services the Uwatec Digital compass. It is oil filled and uses a 1/2AA lithium battery. However, you must attach a memory battery to keep it's program information . If the battery goes completely dead, the compass is dead/not repairable. Have your battery changed before it dies.

Suunto D4, D6, D9, Stinger, Spyder send to Underseas Scuba Center for special service of these wrist top computers.

We no longer repair the Techna timers. Success rate was below 50%. We used a dremmel tool to expose the battery and Loctite 5 minute plastic epoxy to seal it back up. The battery is a common 357. Try it yourself.

We will not do Sea & Sea Profile, we send to Sea & Sea.

Want to replace your own battery? Some batteries are stated as user replaceable in the owners manual. We recommend replacing the o-ring and back ring in many models such as the Suunto. Keep in mind some older computers will  loose their memory and/or calibration settings if you totally remove the battery. Check your manual for precautions.

What is the success rate?
If the dive computer was working properly before the battery went dead, there is a very high success rate with changing the battery. Occasionally, a computer has failed and caused the premature failure of the battery for which we cannot repair. If the computer cannot be repaired, we will only charge you for return shipping. If you have already removed the battery yourself, we will attempt the repair however the success rate is usually lower.

We now pressure test every instrument we replace a battery in. Sometimes we find the accuracy of the computer is not what it should be and we will note that on the paper work.

It is difficult to get all the small air bubbles out of oil filled computers. Although we are quite successful at this, small bubbles may appear with time. These will in no way hinder the operation, reliability, or readability of the display and can be ignored.
